Our fall intern Thomas Lusk, a Wheeler High School student, has been a great help in many facets of Aloha. He has been immersed by taking our “ASiST” Aging Simulation Sensitivity Training, Dementia 24/7 Simulation Training, and our Aloha Day Club (ADC) Volunteer Training and has gained a better understanding of the aging population and their needs. He’s worked with the club members in the ADC program, logged in necessary data entry, and has been very useful in figuring out statistics which will be beneficial when applying for grants. These are just a few areas of how our intern supports Aloha to Aging. Many thanks, Thomas, for being a valued member of our team!
