Today we had another successful ASiST Program (Aging Simulation Sensitivity Training)! There was a great mix of attendees: caregivers, program volunteers, a director from a senior living facility, and a KSU student who volunteers her time to Aloha. The exuberant college student is so passionate about serving the elderly population that she catches “lifts” (i.e. Uber) to attend the programs and to volunteer. One of our wonderful West Cobb volunteers overheard her saying this and offered to be her ride home today. Aloha is blessed to have such caring and thoughtful people volunteer!
